1) Tranfer TV shows from TiVo to PC
To transfer TV shows on any PC, you need to download TiVo Desktop software. When your TiVo is connected to your home network, TiVo Desktop provides you with a list of available shows for transferring to your PC.

2) Convert TiVo to MPEG

2. Install and run, Click "Add Files" and load the TiVo files you'd like to convert.

Hints: If you can not convert Tivo to MPEG successfully, please download the Microsoft .NET 1.1 architecture since maybe the conversion from TIVO to MPEG is dependent on it.

3) Convert MPEG to PSP

1. Download PSP Video Converter software and launch. The PSP software supports converting various video files to PSP video MP4, H.264, MP3, etc.

2. Click "Add", load the MPEG files.



3. Select output PSP video format from "Profile". In general, "Excellent Quality" means quite large video size. H.264 is recommended. H.264 delivers the same quality as MPEG-2 at a third to half the data rate and up to four times the frame size of MPEG-4 Part 2 at the same data rate.

4. The full-screen resolution for PSP is just "368x208" and you can select it at the right of the panel. But if the resolution of your original file does not match with this setting, the video of output file will be a little distorted. So I recommend you to use the default one. PSP does not support other resolution settings, please do not enter other number for it.

5. Click "Encode" to start the TiVo to PSP conversion.

6. After finishing, there will be two output files for each single loaded file. One is the .MP4 video file, playable with QuickTime on PC, another is a .THM file. Both of them are necessary for PSP. The two files are in the same main title, for example, if your original file is "test.avi", after the conversion, you will get two files: "test.mp4" and "test.thm".

7. Get your PSP connected with PC first, and then run PSP Video Manager from the “Tool” menu. The program will detect “C:\Temp” automatically and show the PSP files in this folder on the left; the files on the PSP will be shown on the right, shown as “Removable Disk”. highlight the file which you want to put into the PSP and then click “Copy->”. The file will be transferred into PSP. Then, you will see your file on the right, which means that the file is playable on the PSP now.
